European Politics

European Politics refers to the political processes, structures, and dynamics that occur within Europe, encompassing the governance of European countries, the interactions between these states, and the institutions that operate at the regional level, such as the European Union (EU). It includes the examination of political parties, electoral systems, political ideologies, public policies, and the influence of historical, social, and economic factors on political developments in Europe. European Politics also involves the study of international relations among European nations and the impact of transnational issues, such as migration, trade, and security, on the continent’s political landscape. This field seeks to understand not only domestic politics within individual nations but also the collaborative and often contentious relationships between them, particularly in the context of integration and collective decision-making processes.
